The linocut book is released on the occasion of the exhibition “Wie Immer” by Katharina Immekus, Oliver Kossack and Christoph Ruckhäberle at the Verein für Original-Radierung München from 27.9. until 17.10.2008, curated by Josef Filipp.
This chunky linocut book features the work of Katharina Immekus, Oliver Kossack and Christoph Ruckhäberle, whose bold black and white compositions range from thickly carved abstract designs to figure studies created by webs of delicately inscribed lines. Though illustrating the scope of aesthetic possibilities of linocut printmaking, Wie Immer integrates the work of the three artists by allowing the imagery to flow from one page to the next in a string of visual associations.
